(Drinks for your own account) Guest Speakers Elizma Nolte Elizma Nolte spent 10 years working as a journalist, editor and media entrepreneur in London, where she was involved in several media start-up projects in the print, online and TV space, before returning to South Africa to join Google as Marketing Manager. She holds a Bachelor in Computer Science and MPhil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, MSc in Digital Publishing from City University London, and an MBA from INSEAD. Elan Lohmann Elan has worked in Digital Media for over a decade managing many of South Africa’s top digital brands. At age 34 he was appointed to the position of senior executive of a listed company. During his helm as Publisher at Media24, Elan lead News24.com, South Africa’s number 1 website, from making a loss to successfully making a profit – a goal he has also set and has been executing with his business portfolio at Avusa Media since his appointment at the media stable in 2009. Elan was appointed Group Managing Director for Digital at Avusa Limited in May 2011 – a new position created within the company – enabling him to apply his practices in securing Digital success for the entire group. Elan was one of the original corporate digital pioneers in the South African Internet market and continues to do so tirelessly in the pursuit of solid results.
