Jessica A’isha Mouneimne

A former hard news journalist and radio personality, Jessica traded writing headlines and chasing deadlines for poop shoveling and midnight bottle runs. Finding them both far more riveting that hounding scandalous politicians, she did what any reporter would do and started writing about it.

Now a full time mommy blogger and founder and partner at Mommy Matters Online Parenting and Lifestyle Magazine. This blog sheds light on the many facets of womanhood, motherhood and livelihood. It has a special interest in moms personal & professional development and runs regular workshops and events to ensure that as mothers we are living lives that motivate and excite us.

Jessica also hosts a parenting show on digital radio station 2OceansVibe Radio.
Koreshini Pillay
Koreshini heads up Specials Project at Mxit, Africa’s largest social network which harnesses the energies of mobile phone visionaries to initiate positive change in Africa. She stumbled upon the mobile and digital industry by chance but has fallen in love with it ever since. After graduating with a BSocSc from UCT in 2005, Koreshini was unsure of which career path to follow and after much consideration ventured into Marketing. She later obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Stellenbosch.

Before joining Mxit, Koreshini was very mush hesitant. She didn’t see “technology” as a friend and realized that this was an entire new ball game for her. She plucked up the courage and dived head first into the mobile industry and quickly learnt the ropes. Her passion for community upliftment and building something sustainable saw her joining Mxit Reach, a program which is using technology built by Mxit to create free mobile educational, health care, agricultural and community applications.

The Protea Hotel Victoria Junction originally opened its doors in 1996 and quickly became known as one of the most innovative Hotels in Cape Town. Built in an industrial style, the decor included some quirky film set themes that made the hotel very popular with film and production houses.
